  1. Heart disease (23.5%): lower blood pressure and cholesterol, minimize alcohol and smoking
  2. Cancer (22.5%): incorporate exercise, quit smoking, avoid excessive sun exposure
  3. Chronic lower respiratory diseases (5.7%): quit smoking
  4. Accidents (5%): don’t drive while intoxicated
  5. Stroke (5%): lower blood pressure and cholesterol, limit alcohol

Health KPIs to achieve

  • BMI (weight in kilograms divided by square of height in meters): < 25
  • Physical activity: 150 minutes of moderate intensity or 75 minutes of high intensity workout per week
  • Limit alcohol: 1 serving for women or 2 servings for men per day
  • Total cholesterol < 200 mg/dL, LDL < 130 mg/dL, HDL > 40 mg/dL, triglycerides < 150 mg/dL
